choppertrike Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Cleaned & wiped with WD40 Champion Blower & Forge Co. Lancaster PA U.S.A. Lancaster Geared Blower No. 40 Seems to work perfectly - The gears inside look like new, Must have very few "miles" on it. The pipe stuck in the snout is a 2-1/2 " 45 degree exhaust joint I had laying around, it "press-fit" inside perfectly Getting some 1" pipe to make original style legs for it. Quote
matto Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 looks good. even with a lot of mile if you keep them oiled the gears will last with little wear. just proves alittle regular maintance goes along way. Quote
pkrankow Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I got that same blower. Go to the local garage door place and see if you can get the pipe from inside the springs, it is the same size as the legs on mine. (I can measure with calipers tomorrow and make sure) There is also a bracket that goes at the bottom to hold the three legs together. Phil Quote
