If you have photoshop, you can go either way. There's always a sale going, so you can get "500 free cards" or whatever, and pay $10-15 in shipping. Much easier and higher quality than printing and cutting at home. It's very cheap advertizing to hand them out. I'll even punch a hole in them and use them as price tags with the information written on the back.
