keithgartner
This was brought into the local coffee shop, the other day. We passed it around the table, and got more confused by the minute. Heard it was a tatoo needle, wood gouge, medical instrament......... It's made of Stainless steel.
FieryFurnace
I would guess an exacto knife of some sort. Does the blade swivel?

Marksnagel
My first thoughts were a leather punch. Is the tool hollow from the tip to the cutout on the side? I would assume that the cutout allows the cut materiel to fall out. Or not.
MLMartin
I think part of a tatoo gun is correct. Errrrr Maybe?
Jeff Lodge
It looks like it could be the tube portion of a tattoo gun.
Jason @ MacTalis Ironworks
Definately a tattoo needle tube... looks to be about a 7 or 9 flat to me...
baddog
Yes it is a tube for a tattoo gun. The needles go in the tube.
Pulsepushthepopulace
Shader to be specific... picture 5 to 12 needles breaking the skin @ once... color or black... I have a phoenix on my left side, and in order for the artist to make the tail feathers "realistic", he took a big shader needle and ran it outward of the feather vain to make the fletching... The feathers themselves were 3 hours of pure bliss...
