SeaSideForge Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 hey just looking through old posts.. im pretty new to bladesmithing myself so im in no place to give you any real pointers.... but when i put a bevel on the blade i bend the unbeveled blade so that when i start hammering out a bevel and moving material it doesnt curve up like yours.. so basically your counter acting the affect the bevel has on the blade.. is a few months after you posted this so i suppose you figured this out but I hope it Helped Quote
BM454 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Not bad at all. The more you hammer the better you will become. I'd advise buying Wayne Goddard's $50 Knife Shop. Some of the best money you can spend if you are interested in making knives. Scott Quote
