macbruce Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Here's a few little things to scrimp on if you find yourself ''financially challenged'', or even if you're just a cheap so and so.... 1. Put your old earplugs in your jeans pocket when you wash em and the come out like new! Dry before use.... 2. That old bandsaw blade that doesn't cut quite true....adjust your stop a titch and Bada Bing! 3. Put a block or two under your stock in the chop saw and you can wear the blades down to a nub. 4. Take your worn down grinding discs and.........naa.... 5. Turn your worn gloves, turn em upside down and use em on the other hand. 6. Use water or spit instead of cutting fluid. 7. Use those curley shavings from the lathe an drill press for Xmas tree tinsel. 8. Old kitty litter for sand blasting.......Sifted and dried of course. This all can add up to a hot lunch......at Micky D's.... Quote
