Suboc
Any idea what size Chambersburg this is just by looking at the photos. The guy in the photo is not me but is there to show the size of the hammer. Thanks, Dan

monstermetal
Really Danger? It doesnt seem THAT big... Ive been around a 2000lb hammer and it seemed much bigger than that to me... Id conceded more than 1000 but I dont think its 2000lbs.... Of course I am wrong about something every day... this might be todays thing? ;)
Dillon Sculpture
Its hard to tell how big that guy is, the guy to the left in this shot is a bit over 6' tall.
Nakedanvil - Grant Sarver
Looks like a 1500 to me. A very old one too, with the springs to catch the ram. Older hammers tended to be a bit shorter too, later they went to somewhat longer strokes which made everything taller. Plus this hammer was mounted flush with the floor. Dillon Sculpture
I figured you would nail it Grant, its amazing how much pack can develop around the bottom of these hammers.
Suboc
Thanks for the information guys. If anyone is seriously interested, you can e-mail me, and I can get you in contact with the individual who will be letting this hammer go. It is located in Texas. I'm not sure what they will want for it, and ultimatley it will probably be scrapped like everything else was in the shop. Dan

Bentiron1946
Looking at this remined me that those two Niles-Bemmet-Pond 1,100# hammers have been sold and this looks to be about the same size as those. Nice hammer, are you taking it home with you?
