Blacksmith Curriculum

Recommended Posts

At long last, ABANA has approved the first portion of an ABANA endorsed blacksmith curriculum. With that, the first of many articles on it, is in the current issue of Hammer's Blow. Mark Aspery is the new editor for Hammer's Blow and part of what is being done on his watch, is the integration of the Internet with print. So you can read the article and then see it as a video on Youtube. Way cool!

Hello to all,
The ABANA national Curriculum is an education based (not qualification or assessment based) program. It is 9 levels, starting at the beginning and finishing (at least for now) at the grille project.

Thanks for the layout, I had been thinking about asking for it. Thanks also for all the excellent videos on Youtube. Will the articles be available for non-ABANA members? (The ABANA store does not show any info for the Hammer's Blow back issues?)

Contact the Central Office in regards to back issues of the Hammer's Blow. We have recently moved our Central Office location in early March and JoAnn is getting pretty settled in and comfortable.

The hard work and dedication of Mark Aspery with the ABANA Curriculum and his work as the new editor of the Hammer's Blow has really given ABANA some much needed energy and life in our content and purpose. The best way to keep up with the curriculum and general content is to just join ABANA! :)
