TDitmore Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Saying hello to all I am new to the world of working hot Iron. I have spent many years in the welding business and Machine shop world. I am not a pro Farrier take care of a bunch of warmbloods for a nice old german fellow and still learning that trade as well. I want to try my hand at Spur and Bit building. I have a old forge not set up yeat. I would guess that its at the least 80 to 100 yrs old have the hand crank blower for it but no fire box. Stoping here for info and suggestions. Never shoed a horse, I'm a decorative iron guy, but look me up when you're in town. I'll be having some kind of get together when the weather cools off. I'll let you know when something is decided.
