Michael Porter's Generation 5 Burner?

I am in the process of building a 1/2" & 3/4" burner from Michael's book. I keep seeing references to a 'gen 5' burner in threads and posts, yet a Google search (and not limited to IForgeIron forums) does not turn up any useful information. So, the questions are: (1) what 'generation' are the burners in the book?; (2) are the Rex Price T-Rex series of burners of the 'gen 5' type?; (3) What generation are the burners in the Ron Reil information now hosted by ABANA?; (4) Is there an internet resouce, i.e., forum, website, etc., or a book that addresses the 'gen 5' burner and, hopefully, how to construct one?
