primtechsmith Posted October 31, 2006 Author Share Posted October 31, 2006 Schedule: Yesteryear Forge Hammer In Nov. 11, 2006 9am-4:30pm 8-9am: set up of tailgaters 9am-9:30am: sign in, look around, and enjoy the coffee and pastries! 9:30-11am: Introduction of demonstrators, and Demo by Mike Tanner: “jigs, fixtures, and other time saving tidbits” 11am-12noon: Randy Cox demonstrating working copper sheet metal 1st Half 12-12:30pm: LUNCH! Brunswick stew fixed over the fire in a huge 35 gallon pot! 12:30-1pm: Iron-In-The-Hat 1pm-2pm: Randy Cox demonstrating working copper sheet metal 2nd Half 2pm-4pm: LT Skinnell demonstrating leaf hooks, candleholder bases, and a hummingbird. 4pm-4:30: Closing NOTE: THE OPEN FORGE STATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ALL DAY LONG FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO FORGE, AND WILL BE OUTFITTED WITH EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED! Don’t forget to bring something for Iron-In-The-Hat!!! And your favorite hammer to join in the fun!!!
