clinton
I have this bufallo forge with a side draft chimney and the blower has a fitting (on the inlet side) that ties into the flue on the backside. There is another cap on the side, also it looks like there was a waste gate at the bottom end of the flue at one time. Once the fire is going I opened the cap on the suck side and it seems to draft better that way. Does any one out there have one of these? or know how it is supposed to work? arftist
When you first start your fire with green coal, the excess smoke is drawn through the blower so the smoke can burn. When the fire cleans up you open the gate on the "sucker" side, allowing a higher percentage of oxygen to the fire.
