MLMartin
Thought yall would like to see a few things i forged right before the end of the year. the sine bracket was made with all traditional hand work, its a little over 4 feet long. the only electricity used was to run the blower on the forge, forge welds, tenons, rivets, and brazed. on the table you can see 3 decorative washers, there are tenons running from the three legs through the wood top and riveted over to hold the top onto the legs. the wall panel and table were presents for Christmas. the double leg caliper was a present for myself. Sam Salvati
Awesome Mack! I love the little table, can you elaborate a bit on what looks to be the unusual attachment wedges in the top? Double leg caliper is NICE, I need to make one of those for me. Great traditional forging on the bracket.
MLMartin
wedges in the top??? with the table the three legs have tenons on the top that pass all the way through the wood top and are riveted over against the washers. so instead of the tenons passing through another steel bar and being riveted they pass through the wood top, and have steel washers to rivet over, and the steel washers hold on top of the wood
