iamdunn4
Where I work we have a big pile of old small equipment parts and other stuff. There are some small tractor blades about 7 inches long and they weigh about a pound each. They look like cast parts. I was wondering if I can forge something like this into a hardy or axe or what ever else. I do not have any hardy's for my anvil and would like to make some if any one has any idea on what type stuff I could use for this project? Also what can I do with old lawnmower blades ? I'm new to this so I need some of you prose to help me to gain more knowledge. I have been reading a lot and started that tutorial that I found on this site. I know I need to have the correct tools to work with so I will try to gather some.
DennisG
My two cents...... mower blades = knife blades or machete blades
CurlyGeorge
Any chance that you could put up a couple of pix of the "small tractor blades"? I, for one, am not sure what you mean. If we could see some pix it would help immensely. :D
