Since Petrie has become unavailable for a couple of years now, I think there has been a.. hole, in the availability and opportunity for a newby, and not newby Blacksmiths to gather, socialise, and play. I might avago and offer a solution for that. Emails of Expressions of Interest to me. Or Turn Up Or Dont. Saturday, October 24 2009. 10:00 to ??:00,(for those that cant make the "Let's get HAMMERED at MOONY'S", the following weekend, (free towel for tears cos ya know ya missed a good time at moony's) Near Eagle Farm, Brisbane, at my place(bit backyardish but im sure we'll cope). plenty of room but I do not want the address on a forum. so email for location. Just in case this turns into something, and more than just me show up, bring your own coffee cup and maybe a camp chair. bring some scrap if you want to make something big. Beginners welcome, if you want to learn. (bring some scrap or I will have a small amount here.) Safety boots a must. Outdoors so a Hat Might Be wise, and some Sunscreen.
