Rob Browne
Over the last couple of forging sessions Connor (my eldest son) has turned a worn out scarifier point into the beginnings of a mini drop point bowie, its overall length so far is 20cm with a blade length of 10cm. We forgot to take some photos before the filing but thought we would post images as he progresses from here. He is getting to love filing and finishing work So far its only roughed out with a coarse file to the final shape. Now for the slower, finer work that will test his patience. tantrum86
i think it looks pretty good myself.I happen to enjoy finish work myself but i have often been called overly meticulous.so maybe finish work just suits me.
