Frosty
Welcome aboard Rockstar, glad to have ya. Bashful as most of us are you can probably cajole some of our secrets out of us if you're a good sweet talker. If you'll click "User CP" at the top of the page and edit your profile to show your location it can make a big difference. IFI is represented by members from more than 50 countries and a lot of info is location specific. If local folk know you're around they can invite you to gatherings, tip you to tool deals and offer hands on help. Last but most certainly not least if us old farts know who's in the area when we're traveling we'll know where to find a tasty snack or place to nap. You DO have a comfy couch in your shop. Yes? rockstar.esq
Frosty, Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely looking forward to meeting up with some knowledgeable smiths as I'm a beginner. Sorry there's no couch in the shop...yet! -Rockstar.esq
Frosty
No couch eh? Hmmmmm. Everybody has something to show, the more gets passed around the more everybody benefits. Often the most valuable learning tool is a good question. Frosty
