books
Hello All, I've been working in metal on and off for he past 10 years. I have learned by doing and have been fortunate to have friends who are willing to help in all phases of the process. Now...? I want more control over the metal, not just cut and roll. I'm looking for an affordable anvil and the opportunity to learn more about moving and shaping metal. Books

Frosty
Welcome aboard Books, glad to have ya. Being in the mid-west your chances of finding affordable anvils in good condition are far better than most of the country. Tell everybody you know and meet what you're looking for. If you do it right, blacksmithing tools will start rolling in like folk just want you to leave em be on the subject. Frosty
