AbnBull Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Hello all, I found your site while researching a price on a 50# Vulcan Anvil (heading to an auction this weekend). I did a little metal work in high school (a million years ago), and worked as a welder (MIG mainly) for a year in between stints in the Army. I have always wanted to set up my own metal shop and I have started to hit the local auctions looking for tools and equipment. A good place to start is by reading the "Lessons in metalsmithing and Blueprints" sections. If you have specific questions a search of the forum is likely to turn up threads where it's already been discussed.
