aametalmaster
I needed some 1" thick plate cut all the same size for boring so i stacked them up in my SB shaper and leveled them off pretty quick...Bob
imagedude
Glad I'm not the only person left in the world who still uses a shaper.
tiptop
I love shapers also. About the only tools I like more are my planers. The shaper is better suited to the job you did though. I used to have a S.B. shaper also. I really liked it, but I sold it so I could get a larger one. Now I have a 16" G.&E. shaper. The rigidity of the larger shapers makes them worth it if you have the room for one.
aametalmaster
I would love to have a bigger shaper but i am out of room in my basement. I had a 24" Cinci for a while in my buddys shop but its gone now...Bob

blacksmith99
I wish I had a shaper. Frosty Keep an eye on Ebay. The shipping is horrible, but I sucked it up and got a nice Logan 6" shaper. I know you are in Alaska, it might help to check in on the shaper Forum on Yahoo. Once in a while one will show up. Regards, M
