IanR
Thought I'd get the ball rolling, this may not be a special project, but it will be to the recipient, started work on a day bed for my eldest daughter. I have made the four legs, from 20mm square bar with differential twists and faceted tops. there will be two sides and a back with the front open, I have yet to think of a design for the sides and back but I hope to use tenon joins on some of the assembly (GULP!!). TASMITH
A project made for a family member(especially one of Dads Girls) is always special no matter what it is! It looks like you have set yourself a challenge but it is one from the heart and I am certain it will turn out beautifully. Keep us posted on your project, ask your questions and post your pictures. It certainly looks like an excellent beginning. Keep up the good work and happy hammering! Terry
tech413
Looking good so far!! That sounds like it'll be a big job, but well worth it in the end. Keep us posted and keep the pics coming! Adam

Ian Ross Ian, This is the best post I have seen on IFI in a long time -among many. The photography is superb, shows your fine work very nicely. I like the polished tops with the raised points.
