Had these bits sitting around on the bench for ages. Finally got time to weld them up.

Say hello to Crash. I have been poking him around and he has had many great names and has even been called scary. Please. I find him to be cute or silly. I ended up making him versatile that his head will sit on the steering wheel Or on a stand I made. No play either way. A few friends thought one part or the other looked better on its own so there. Everyone is happy or terrified. Pic heavy!

I've had the bits for this lying around for a while but decided to get on with it put it together. A singing duo - I call them Tom and Tina Tin Snips. The integral parts are the heads - knuckle joints from a shearer's comb. Good because they have teeth and open and close. The bodies are tin snips and the instruments are whatever. Here they are: I added a microphone and clear coat in the last picture.

Assassin bug. Head is on a spring and moves have a little cleanup to do but I really wanted to post it.

Here is the almost finished spider. I'm thinking of making a web behind it and there are a few small tweaks I want to do then it will get sealed and be done. I like trying to add forged elements to sculptures, this one is bolts as legs, spinnerets ( abdomen legs) pedipalp (mouth legs) , and chelicerae (fangs). Yes I looked that up lol. Hope it's creepy enough for the title. At the moment it's about 17#. I was initially concerned it would be back heavy but is balanced really well. 16" long by 13 1/2" wide.
