Hello I am new to this community. I am excited about this blacksmith journey for my 8 year old son and I. Today I pulled the trigger and bought my first anvil. It is a Hay Budden and weighs about 103 lbs. I paid $300. Was this a good price? The sides are mostly rounded. Will this be a problem in the future? It does have good bounce and ring. The serial number is 158624. Does anyone know what year it is? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. Sincerely, A Beginner
