Here’s a conference coming up next month in Cody Wyoming put on by WAB (Wyoming artists and blacksmiths)
the cost for the conference is $75
It lasts 3 days.
we will be assembling forges for WAB and doing simple projects, getting other members used to demonstrating at other conferences.
hope some of you are interested.

And wearing gloves can be very dangerous as well.
anything hot can get in your gloves and be held in place and burn your even worse than without.
also reduces hammer accuracy.
Is there anyone out there that can tell me what I need to do to fix this large chip on my new anvil. It gets in the way of my Forgings and I would like to fix it but don’t want to ruin it.
thanks,
Quin,
So I got this leg vice for $30 today. I think it is a PW but I am not sure. I really want to know if anyone knows when it was made. The serial number is 14372. Thanks.
Ok so they couldn’t do 325 after they thought about it they said 495… but I told them I wasn’t going to buy it if it wasn’t good they agreed and next one in in the area I will do the ring and rebound tests
She said her son was a blacksmith and it was his anvil and it was never welded on
It has to be better than this Chinese cast anvil that I’ve been using
It’s inside right now so it doesn’t rust
