Thanks No not yet will be doing shortly, no fear of grinder going anywhere near it! The most it's getting is wire wheel on a drill and coat of light oil -
Just jumping in on the Hill thread, I think I acquired one too. Started a topic last night here. {Didn't see all of this thread prior } Mine comes in at a fairly hefty 204 pound.

I've had this a while but due to lack of workshop area it remains unused atm . I understand its a coach makers anvil and With a bit of wire brushing I think I've ID it as a I. HILL Anvil, looks like it has hill and possibly Birmingham stamped on side also 138 cwt which makes 204 pound? {fairly new to all this happy to be corrected. Can anyone provide any extra info? span widgetspan widget
