I have been to 2 or 3 real hardware stores. They could not help. I have attached pics of where the bolt goes. This thread mentioned a pivot bolt but I don't know where that goes on the vice. The only thing stamped on this vise is a large 6. No other stamping or nameplates. Thanks for the responses.

Can anyone tell me the name of that bolt and where to buy one? Thanks

I have a 6'' bench vise that closes and does not open. same issue discussed here. There is a bolt in the bottom of the vise that is missing. I have tried to replace it but can't find one. thank you
