  1. I found a couple of siblings. It seems that it is a Sambre et Muese from France/Belgium. I am not entirely sure that this is the actual manufacturer or the manufacturing area. also fond it a little odd that the number 3 is on all the anvils. Thought that it might have been a style / type, avaliable in different weights. but that cant be right because my one doesn't have the upset block. Weird??
  2. I did test it before I brought it home. It rings like a church bell and the bearing bounces better than 80% across the whole face including the tip of the flat horn. Looks like I might have to wade through some of the old posts regards Jeff.
  3. Hi all. i just purchased a small 80 kg cast double horn anvil . it has had hardly any use, so cant be that old. it has a stamp on the side but i can't make it out, or find it or its maker from Google searches. i am wondering if anybody can help with the identification. Its origins may be French or Belgium? Many thanks in anticipation Jeff , Perth WA. (that's Western Australia not Washington)
