A little late... What you are doing is raising. As one said coppersmiths lay out a spiral or circles spaced evenly from the center. you need a radios steak or a muchroom steak. a raising hammer. a planish hammer.TIME! and if thay are going to gether mak shur you put a hole in it! i can give more info.

ok, try and get out of the box.last night i was on a brit knife site. this chap did his kinfes (scails)in Ti.and at one i did some annodizing of Ti. out of the thin stuff 28-32ga. i'v e got some picks coming. newbe on the louse!!!!

Frosty I get the flare part. on blueprint agent was necking a 3/4 pipe just after the fitting. leaving some thing like ><.just concaved
where do i put jet. or how far down the pipe can one go.

Naw Jeremy that is for earings. As BBBwas saying his brother was useing a 3/4 round. so it looks like you can buy larger stock. I wonder if one can change the ccolor.

Hello, I'm new at this, so I will be short. Dowels are a good start. but is it wood? brass is a good choice too. And as Frosty said Felt!
I would go for the mounted ones.
