    New to the topic and site. I saw a documentary years ago about a guy who made his own steel and smithed in an old school forge, and thought it was awesome. Then in the last year, watched several episode of Forged in Fire, and have really enjoyed it. So, thinking about getting involved in trying it myself, so just doing research now. Nice to "meet" you all.
