Yeah black frog I was thinking maybe it was a 4, but the rust got the best of that part. If it is a 47112, do you know a date for that?

Hey Thomas I’m not real sure what you’re asking me there. I tried to look up the history of a&h logos but haven’t come across anything as of yet. I did see where one gentleman said something about a logo being the second generation but it was so badly rusted that I couldn’t make it out. Thanks iron dragon, I’ve been reading through some of the past posts. So far I’m in 2014. not sure what BLO is.

Hello guys and girls i just acquired and arm and hammer anvil. It’s pretty rough but still beautiful. It’s my first anvil. I cleaned the Id numbers and insignia the best I could without getting too rough. I weighed the anvil and it’s about a hundred pounds. Is that what the 104 on the right side, stands for? The best I can tell on the left side, is 7112. Unless there is another digit in front of the 7 that I can’t make out. Can anyone help clarify these numbers? I’d greatly appreciate it. By the way I had to add some pics of this beauty:)
