      Thanks! Good to be here.

  3. Hello, yourself from 7500' in SE Wyoming.  Welcome aboard.

  4. Dear Jennifer,

Glad to see you on IFI.  You've been a bit of a ghost lately.  I hope all is well with you and Susan and that you've gotten or are about to get your covid vaccinations.  We got our 2d Pfizer shots yesterday and I have some soreness in my arm and didn't have a lot of stamina.  Madelynn who tends to react more to these sorts of things than I do has been feeling punk and has a bad headache.  My turn in the kitchen tonight if she feels like eating anything.

Congratulations on getting your conduit in.  "Fiat Lux."

We're having a typical spring at 7500 feet, cold and snowy.  High of 54 today, 61 tomorrow and Mon., then back down to a high in the 30s.  Springtime in the Rockies.

    Yours,

    George

Hello George, Thanks for reaching out.. :)

I haven't had much to contribute and everyone seems to have all bases covered.. the newer folks are all doing well and I have not been in the forge trailer in months now..

Well, in months to forge something.. Well, only a half truth..  Daniel Moss put out a challenge for a candle holder but we were in real winter here and by the time I submitted my photo, he stopped responding to any of my emails or messages..

The guys that are YT buddies seem to be exclusive..  LOL..   I'll put out the video at some point..

Susan went an had hers early.. She works at the hospital.. Turns out I could have gone when it was offered since I am in agriculture but did not now this till about 3 weeks ago..   I did get my first shot and felt punky for about a week or so..   I could notice I had more numbness on the left side of my body more so then usual..   DCS hit back in 03 I think.. Left me partially paralyzed on my left side..  I've worked extremely hard to keep things working but when tired or with something like the shot it shows up dreadful like..

      Ribs tonight?  :)

God bless.. We have had some days in the mid 60's that have been stellar. Had 15" of snow last week in a storm but thats gone except the snow that fell off the shop roof.. Still a few white patches..

The rhubarb is coming up,  first sign of asperigras and the apple trees are just starting to bud..

Getting the conduit in was a huge step..  Maybe run wires tomorrow or tuesday..  then it will be up to the electric company to come and connect..  Giddy up..

So good to hear from you..   Best Jennifer

  5. Dear Ben (I got that from your yahoo address in your profile),

I thought that I'd mention that I was in Coupeville some years ago and thought that it was a neat little town.  One of my best friends who I've known for close to 45 years lives in Port Townsend, a guy named Varn Brooks.  My wife and I were planning a road trip to the Pacific NW with a stop in Port Townsend before the Covid-19 crisis hit.  Once this is all over we will probably try again.  If we can get it together I'll drop you a line and maybe we can have coffee or a beer.

The only I Forge Iron member I've ever met in person is Thomas Powers and it would be nice to get memories of faces to go with the IFI handles.

    Yours.

    George Monsson
