This is my first knife. I wrappedsome baleing twine around it for the handle it’s main purpose is cutting baleing twine I did the bend just to see what I could do also there is a pic of my forge going(it’s a lot of pics I know)

I might add the cap soon but for now I’m going to keep it like this for a bit until I get some more money (because I’ve got to buy gloves and some stuff for the legs )

Me and my grandfather welded it together and added places for the legs to go once I get them they are 1/2 fittings they should work that long piece is aluminum i have to be careful with it or the threads will come off

I’m make a forge out of a big truck brake rotor My grandfather has a piece of railroad track lying around that I will use for an anvil

I’m going to try making a different forge

I’m new and I’m makeing a coal forge for knife makeing i will be documenting it here Here are my pieces I’m useing for the frame I’m going to put them together soon for the legs I’m useing 29 inch pieces of assorted wood and a piece of particle board for the table section and the thin piece for the supports

I’ve decided to switch from the japob to a different design because I’m only makeing small knives I will use the frame of in my new design thanks for all the help I will create a new thing if I need help

I decide the ply was to weak so I found some particle board and Im working on cutting the pieces right now and I switched to wider legs they are about 29’ and the supports are going to be the long piece of wood

Thanks for the advice . I will try to find something heavy

I’m 13 and right now I’m planning out a forge and a anvil I can’t afford anvils so I’m going to use a brake rotor or a piece of I beam . For the forge I’m going to use some old brick from my chimney and a hair dryer for the blower. any advice on metal or anything ?
