thanks Thomas. Im new and started collect some supplies and was hoping this might be good to start with. I say knife with high hopes but have a lot to learn before attempt that leap..just want something to learn with so i can develop a good understand of how steel moves and how to move it.

friend gave me some of the clips pictured by real tree.....the screw spike are different. Are the clips good for knifes? it has an HC095 stamped in it

Does anyone know anything about screw type rail road spikes as well as rail road clips??
