Hey all, been lurking here for a while, figured I'd introduce myself, name's Jared. I haven't done much of anything regarding blacksmithing but I'm looking forward to getting started.
I've got my grandfather's anvil that I found buried in the back of a shed and a little charcoal forge made from a stainless bowl, some very simple homemade refractory cement and a electric air pump. It seems to work quite well. I've plans to build a propane forge once I have some time and experience.
Anyways it's a pleasure to be on this page and I look forward to continue to read all the great information on here.
