  1. I found it on a bolt manufacturers website that actually uses it as I was looking for the answers. I will do my best to post it as soon as I can but I am driving at the moment and don't have access to it.

  3. Hey fellas, I have the opportunity to get a large quantity of B7 and some L7 and B16 but I'm afraid I don't know anything about it. Apparently it's a tool steel used for making bolts and hex nuts from what the gentleman told me. Do you guys know anything about it or can you direct me to a website where I can read up on it? I don't mind doing my own research but the website I found was a little over my head and seemed to lump a lot of different steels together which made it hard to decifer. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. In my shop I rented a gas tamping machine and spread out some "quickcrete" concrete then used a rake to mix it around a little, wet the top and tamped it until it was hard packed. Haven't had any problems yet and it's been about 3 years.
  5. Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Seemed like the thing to do. 8-)
