    Was doing it back in the 70s when I was a boilermaker welder for CP&L & Duke Power. It's Duke Energy now. Best job I've had.

    Hi Judson Yaggy, I'm using 7018. 3/32!! I can do it with 1/8 & 5/32. I can also do it with 1/4 Jet Weld welding rods. I have been doing that since I was a boilermaker welder in 1970 just out of the Navy. Great job!!! Thanks Hillbillysmith, You are a good man.. Yep he's right!!! I watched the old timers when I was a young man.
