Yes, H13 steel is usually used for hot works tool steel, used as mold of hot works, like aluminium mold. Steel grade H13 belongs to ASTM standard while 1.2344 steel is equivalent grade in DIN/EN standard. You could have the properties of H13 steel here. It helps for sure.

I think 8620 steel is worth attempting, and you could find this post useful for you. Because it is with all chemical property and mechanical property of 8620 alloy steel.
