I'm Mark, 31, from Marengo, IL. I've been shoeing horses for almost 12 years now and hitting hot steel just as long. I've competed in competitions in the past. Lots of fun. Unfortunately, I've had left hip surgery 2 times in the last 2 years and now I have to have a complete replacement on it July 19th. Also getting my right hip fixed the end of August. My back is also smoked. Been a rough couple of years. Shoeing horses might not be in my future, so I have to do something a little less physical demanding. Going to forge a lot more I hope. I'd like to thank everyone on this site. I've been creeping around and learning a ton for many years. It honestly is the only thing that keeps my spirits up when I'm laid up from surgery.
