  1. It’s always good to take a class and make a new contact! sometimes you can learn a lot faster with in person tutorials!
  2. That’s odd, Trenton serial numbers don’t go that high, the last ones made start with a 2 Well if it is a 103976 it’s dated as bein made in 1911
  3. Is that a 103976? It’s kinda hard to make out that first digit
  4. That’s a good looking Trenton! Thanks for sharing! does it still have any serial numbers on the foot under the horn?
  5. One day “that guy” in the shop who’s always trippin over stuff an never pays attention, was walking by whilst that fly press was bein used an of course he wasn’t wearing his hard hat the arm an weight swung around and wacked him up side the head and his head bein so dense caused it to fracture and fall off, don’t worry he never even noticed, he kept on walking like nothing ever happened, the moral of the story is keep accident prone people away from your tools and if they have to be around them make sure they wear a hard hat to protect your tools from them in event of a impact!
  6. Howdy from eastern Oklahoma and welcome to the forum! can we see some close ups of your anvil? It looks to be in excellent condition from a distance!
  7. Your welcome Jon, I’m not sure if your genuinely interested interested, or just spam posting and being sarcastic (like I was doing) if on the other hand your still out there reading this, and that was a real an honest question, a bunch of random people on an internet blacksmithing forum is not the place to be asking something like that, in all honesty I’m not qualified to be telling anyone anything about how to apply a bandaid!!! let alone anything about heart rate monitors, I doubt many others here are qualified either, I once tried to get Frosty to take a look at a splinter I had on my finger an he told me to just cut off my finger to fix the problem!!! Would you trust his medical advice? if you are truly interested In learning about heart rate monitors, I suggest looking into some manufacturers websites reading up on them then speaking with a medical professional like a doctor thats actually qualified to answer any questions you have about your heart rate or any other questions you may have about your health
  8. They ain’t never been to eastern Oklahoma then! we got ways a dealing with unfriendly folks that ain’t from round here Especially if they think they can just make off with somthin without permission! The critters gotta eat to doncha know? Daswulf that sounds fun to watch I’ll check it out!
  9. May not be, but I still wanna know! personally I can only eat one large thick crust pepperoni pizza with extra cheese in one setting In thirty minutes but I was just curious if he could eat more? id give an anvil to someone that could eat 42 in that time! Although after thinking about it they probably wouldn’t be able to use it for awhile…
  10. The answer to every question?!?! Just how many large thick crust pepperoni pizzas with extra cheese can you eat in one setting within 30 minutes?
  11. we got the floors all ripped out yesterday an just got done rebuilding them, I had to add an in line vent under the kitchen sink this morning, and I may have to add another one under the bathroom vanity but won’t know till everything gets hooked back up, so for now we can start putting down her new flooring now,
  12. Yeah we ain’t even got a crawl space, no way to get under the house an not enough room to crawl even if you wanted too, only way to work on something is to cut through the floor, I just got back from the hardware store and the coop, im gonna dump a load of lime under where the water was to kill off all the funky stuff
  13. So my wife decided she didn’t like the linoleum In the bathroom an laundry room, an wanted to get some of that new wood laminate flooring that snaps together and redo that part of the house, I said sure sounds great! Whatever you want! well she calls up her dad to give her a hand since I’m in the middle of busy season in the shop, an he says sure that he’d come down an it should only be about a two hour job! I moved the washer, dryer, cabinets ect.. an cleared everything outta their way, an they got started, it all went down hill from there… first hiccup was when they pulled up the linoleum they found the toilet had been leaking, so I came in an started pulling up the floor and it was toast… thankfully our old house has huge oak floor joists so they were pretty stable an didn’t rot out, while messing around in there I noticed a 1-1/2” pipe that was goin an on direction and I stuck my head under the floor to have a look with a light and seen it dead ends and is dripping under the laundry room so I start pulling up linoleum in there an find mildew on the osb, so I pull that up an surprise surprise floors rotted out there too, an there’s a lake under the house!!! so I’m goin back an looking at the plumbing trying to figure out what on earth is goin on, long story short, my kitchen sink, my dishwasher and my bathroom sink have been draining upteen thousand gallons of water under my house since 2012 when the house was supposedly remodeled, we bought the house in 2013, So now that little two hour flooring project has became a 3 day plumbing, demolition, construction project and we still ain’t half way done, let alone put her new fancy flooring in lol So that’s what we’re up to in peavine Oklahoma this week, fair warning to anyone buying a “remodeled” old house, always check someone else’s work, I always wanted lake front property but I didn’t want it under my laundry room lol also before someone asks, no I haven’t found any cave fish… yet!
  14. Yeah I’ve ran into that for years on Craigslist, post an item for sale an within thirty minutes some spam scammer text ya, even when you write in big bold letters, (cash in person only!!!) they still text with some stupid scheme,
  15. Morgan vises are still made under the name Morgan Milwaukee, you might check with them to see if they have replacement jaws for that model, other then that a lot of people have replacement jaws built by machine shops
  16. Howdy from eastern Oklahoma! An welcome to the forum!
  17. If you drop a log in the bog make sure to use the roll before you stroll!
  18. You can pen up the chickens but you can’t keep out the bobcat!
  19. Thomas, you mean to tell me y’all don’t have a cookout when a neighbors goat is standing on the cab of your truck?
  20. Hey Thomas! I’ll give ya $36190.00 ZWD for one of yer 400-500 pound anvils!
  21. That’s interesting Jerry I never heard of an exchange cheaper then re filling, I just buy the junky rusty old tanks here an there for a couple bucks and then exchange them for updated ones with the new style valves, and when the cert runs out I exchange them again,
