  1. G'day mate, This is by far the best RR spike knife I've seen yet! Very nice work, keep it up! :)
  2. Growling Anvil

    Shoe tool

G'day mate, I picked one of these up years ago & it had me stumped as to what it was for. My grandfather was a cobbler but that was before I was born so that didn't help much. It was my father that told me it was used to stretch the leather in the end of shoes to give your toes a bit more room and such. My shoes could do with some stretching but they don't work to well on steel-caps !!
  3. This stand was made from two pieces of half inch deformed reo-bar. This is the 3rd in a series of stands to hold slumped glass dishes for another local artist "Pamela Tankard". These stands have been quite challenging as none of the dishes have been round or square, they've all been a oddly shaped and being glass I couldn't just beat the stands in to fit around them!

  11. I took inspiration from tribal art to create this wall sconce. It measures about 600mm square and is made from 10mm round bar.
  12. I called this the "Scorpion" for obvious reasons, It's made from one piece of 10mm round bar that has been doubled over and forge welded 3 times. It's a commission job for another local artist "Pamela Tankard" who produces slumped glass dishes and art. This is the first of a series of pieces to hold Pamela's work.
