    Hi Mikey98118, I asked, because where I live (Portugal) the Butane blow torchs are much cheaper than the Propane one's. Thank you for your advice. Regards Paulo

    Good evening, this is my first post in this forum, and sorry if I'm being inconvenient with my ignorance. I want to build a small forge like the very popular coffee can forge. I want it for tempering metal (knives), and I want to use a butane blow torch. Will the butane blow torch take my metal to non magnetic stage? And the forge need to be opened on both sides? Thank you Paulo
