Hi Beaver, I'm in Palmerston North.

Haven't got to the foundations yet as I'm going to be building another area to put it in. I've read your progress with great interest, how are you getting on?

      Hi Jason

I am just doing the tee bolts and have started redoing the boxing for the inertia block Cheers

  2. Hi Phill

Beaver here again i have decided where in my work shop im mounting my 2 CWT inslide Massey hammer I am going to mount my anvil on two thicknesses of 12 mm thick new conveyor belt and i think i will put one layer under the hammer body on top of foundations. I am also planing on using conveyor belt around the edge of the hole to isolate my floor from the hammer foundation/anvil block. The plan is to have a hole 2000 long 1500 wide and 2000 deep which is 6 cu metres. What are your thoughts thank you Beaver

Hey Beaver, never done a 2 piece foundation, so I am clueless.  I did remove my spare 5cwt from a 2 piece foundation/inertia block, it seemed to move around a lot more than I would have expected.

      Good luck.

      Phil

  3. Hello Justin

    Thanks for your reply

I am pretty much doing all you suggest it is a project that will probably take a year to complete though sooner would be better, I have to keep working for money as wife keeps wasting it on food and soap and stuff like that Cheers Beaver

  4. Cheers for that Phil

I think I will make foundations bigger than that better much too big than small, dont want to upset neighbours though they are a distance away. Just one question is the cylinder lubricator manually operated or vacum operated and pump for priming. I am trying to find a source for fabreeka but will probably end up using Jara railway sleepers Thank you, Beaver

  5. Hey there Phil

Just worked out how to message you directly, I would like to know what is required to make my foundation as far as construction and size or mass req shock, absorber system either wood or fabreca. I would think the witness mark on the tupp and body is the lowest point that the tupp should go down and lubrication requirments I had replied to your coment but its on my message board cheers Beaver
