Hi all. I'm new to this site and new to blacksmithing. I've just bought this anvil and am curious as to its age and where it came from. It has. 3 0 0 on one side. On the other I can make out. _ _ L N S. Then D _ D K _ S ? Maybe the large X above the letters would be a clue? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Rod.
