  1. I wasn’t able to make any out. Perhaps if I clean it up a little I might be able to see better. I think ThomasPowers was correct when he said Trenton… it does look very similar to others I was looking at online. I’ll clean it up tomorrow and post any new marking I find. thanks!
  2. Thanks for the quick reply! Here are a few pictures of the bottom and a better close up of the markings on the anvils side.
  3. Picked this up a while back at a flea market. Weighs 130lbs. Any ideas on who made it or how old it is?
  4. Thanks for the advice. I picked it up today. Managed to get it for $275.
  5. I'd like to revisit this topic. Anyone aware of any yards in the Worcester MA area that let you pick scrap?
  6. Ok, thanks for the clarification. I should of added my location to the post and my profile. Still figuring this forum out. I'm in Massachusetts, USA. I have some free time tomorrow afternoon and will be headed out to see it then. Finding time is always the hard part. I was planing to offer $300 and go from there. Being brand new to the hobby I just wasn't sure if this was a good price or a quality anvil. They seem to be all over the place with the prices so it is hard for me to tell if I'm getting a good deal for my money. Fisher, from what I read online is a very common anvil.
  7. I'm not sure I understand? American dollars.
  8. I'm just getting into the hobby. I found a 100Lb Fisher anvil with a $400 or best offer asking price online. Is this a good deal?
