  8. Ive just read this and now im a bit paranoid. When i was younger i worked in a steel mill and part of the job was cutting galvi sheet steel and making various little slots and slits. I used to come home dirtier that an dirty thing on a dirty things dirty day. Should i be worried. this was 30 years back though.
  9. They put a 3 legged clamp around one of your front wheels so you cant drive the car and you have to pay to get them removed. they also have a thick plate cover over the wheel nuts so you cant just swap over the wheel. small geni and a decent grinder takes ages to remove one ( so Ive been told)
  10. Frosty Maybe it would be an idea to ask metalmangler to make a tongs forging video? Perhaps a whole new section to the site of How To Videos??
  11. Haha and to think I complain of the heat. when it gets to about 24C (about 75F) I start to hide. No idea how you guys can handle the heat.
  12. rpg? I still play pathfinder at times with a few guys. and were all supposed to be hardened bikers. I'm up for the Traveller game. From what I remember though you go through a lot of characters..
  13. Hmm. King pins I have 7 or so. Picked up a tiebar ( the rod that connects to the track rod ends on the axle is this what you mean by axle? Sorry for jumping in just thought this was a good place to ask.
  14. I live in a town in a ground floor flat but I have the garden. I dont care what my neighbours think. They party during the week regularly and dont give my boy trying to sleep a thought. So im more than happy to go out in the morning ona day off and beat steel. My anvil sits on pallets so the sound can resonate a little but its the right height for me. When I move home itll be a different story and ill sound proof the anvil.
