  1. This PW anvil is for sale again and the seller writes" this Peter wright quality anvil has an interesting top stepped working surface feature". You can have this anvil with special feature for $750.The other one is also going for $750 special feature included.
  2. A decorative picture frame comes to mind and a waitress always needs a cork screw or bottle opener
  3. Good video Ethan, your strong for your age my 4.5 Ib hammer doesn't` get a lot of use if I can help it.How is the repaired anvil holding up so far?
  4. In these videos ( IMG_0939.MOV I had to keep them short) I am not hitting the anvil hard and using a 10oz hammer. The chain stays on and the addition of hardy hole sleeve, the 5\8 tapped mild steel tight in the pritchel hole and large magnet under the heal makes the difference. 19. Yeah turbo I see that symbol I thought it was a W but its hard to pick the real marks from chisel marks. If that were to be a W then the wilkinson cross would be directly below as this picture, found an interesting line in the Anvils in America book,"I have been told that there are more Wilkinson anvils in Australia than any other make"
  20. beautiful job, scrapping is almost a lost craft.
  21. That may be true but I know how the guy feels if you don`t already own an anvil you want one even more
