Dodge: my blower always blows off my flame so i quited trying this blowers... but hardley wait to see yours work so maybe i will copie it if it worth ''reinventing the weel'' ??? Why do u whant a blown forge if u have normal burner already ? The best improvement i can think of now to a gas forge is a stainles steel pipe for burner

I tried round pipe inside the square tubing. It does not work if you want a clasic twist. but it sure works if you whant to have an organic looking shape...just before it brakes. NeatGuy: are the dies perpendicular on the material ?And if they are i supose that the fuller is on an angel towords the material.I also supose that the pipe is round ...

I like your ideea althow i don't completly understand how the dies are made even after looking at the pictures.Seems that you are twisting tube more easly than i do actualy i am done twisting tubes for now...got tired of tring to insert sand and other pipes in :)

Ever had the problem of twisting the tube till it colapsed ? well i had i am just wondering how is this machine made ? Brr... i am mostly looking for European sellers i think ... the cost of shiping from US is way to big to worth the effort... seems that the price that they have listed(king arhitecutral)is only 0.20$ cheaper/peace than what i can find in my country ...i don't know if that will cover the transport thow...but 10x for the link i found some nice catalogs that they are offering the PDF version...under the contact section

I have copied this exact bender and i worked with it quite a lot. This bender is good for bending stock at an angle 90 ...45^ or any angle. It's good for making collars but i don't recomand for making an arch.This is not the fastes and the simplest way posibble .Circles take a lot of time to make too ...

Or you can build a gas forge It;s faster it;s cleaner it's loweder it's easy to see where the flame is and i have never melt a piece in there !

I had to host this kind of a meeting twice..and i was never coverd so all the risk was on me. I was never coverd because was not able to find this service where i live and i did it to meet other people related to this craft. I have to admit that i... every time i charged for the iron that was used ...at regular iron price not a resaler price.But i shure wish i coud get coverd because at one of the meeting a rotary wire brush started to fly around the shop. It did not hit anybody thow ! Wish u best of luck

Or you can cut with an angle grinder every 1cm cut cut cut cut ...than bend than weld than grind i have done so when i did not whanted to make rollers on large stock like 120mm thick square bar but ... It's much faster 2 make 2 rings and than weld

Well i think that it whoud be handy to call a preist and have the place blessed when everything is ready.That;s the way it's done over here...in Romania when a construction is finished . That way GOD will be present in the shop and you will be able to sleep better not having to think about that fire hose. You did a nice job ! I bet you will have some nice moments in this new shop !

here u can see mine YouTube - Gas forge the door slides up and down on the side pipes...not very nice once the forge is hot ...quite difficult to close and open you have the chain to adjust the height ...
