Thanks Jake! I intended to post links on the other thread but had to wait for the images to appear in the gallery. Got it done now. I saw similar shaped edges in the section on Irish tools in a marvelous old book that I have (can't find it at the moment or I'd credit it). The beauty of those chisels struck me and I find a curved edge to be very versatile.

Mark; I hot set the tang but also filled in with Kwik-Poly which is the best stuff I have ever found... though most any good epoxy would be adequate. Antler has a spongy center which needs glue reinforcement for a reliable bond. This was made for a Christmas present for a family with hunting traditions... they specifically requested the antler handle. The antler is legal BTW... purchased from an elk rancher here in Missouri.
