  1. I've been listening to Jimi Hendrix the most lately. Also Bob Dylan, The Beatles, John Lennon, Gnarls Barkley, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. My favorite from Hendrix is his later stuff like Band of Gypsies and Fillmore East, also his Blues album and any long instrumental jams.

  2. The eye really makes a jammer, so it's important to have a good drift. ppl prefer all different shapes and sizes of eyes. my hammer drifts taper roughly 1/16" - 1/8" per inch, and the length of the eye is twice the width. most of my hammers have a 5/8 x 1-1/4 eye. hammers get bigger, but your hand doesnt

  3. How the spring works?

Well, to set the trap, one pushes the springs down, spreads the jaws flat, and a flat pin is laid over a jaw and held in a notch under the pan. The animal presses down on and moves the pan, knocking the pin that is holding the jaw down. In the picture posted by chrispinnh, one can see the flat pin front and center.

So, the springs are relaxed when the jaws are closed, the springs are pushed down and angry, the jaws are opened and held open by the pin, once the pin is knocked out of it's place, there is nothing to hold the jaws down, the spring comes up and closes the jaws.

  4. My brother and i went out and did this after seeing on tv them doing with copper on "cassh and treasures" on travel channel. I wanna do some bigger ones and put them in the art gallery i go to to make some money of of them. i think they will. i'd like them to be thinner and wider, which i think i should be able to get by pouring it from a little more height. it should also give it a more wild look.
