hi im looking to find an essex based master blacksmith who would consider giving a 31yr old an apprentiship, i have been working in the fume extraction industry for 14 yrs and feel a career change is on the cards, as i just kind of fell into this job and its not someting i really want to do. blacksmithing is something i have been interested in for a while altho i have no previous experience in it, i do have years of experience working with my hands tho in my current profession. i look forward to hearing from anyone who would consider an older apprentic. Hi Im wondering if there any master blacksmiths in essex that would be interested in taking on an apprentice. I am very interested in learning the art of blacksmithing and would like to have a career in it i have spent the last 14 yrs working with my hands in small fume extraction buisness (we make alot of our own things) but feel a change of career into something i am interested in is overdue. hopefully someone would be interested in teaching an older apprentice and i look forward to hearing from any of you.
