Hi all. I got into smithing a couple of years ago at an SCA (society for creative anachronism) event and have loved it ever since. I've only actually done a few basic things but loved every minute of it. My anvil is a two foot chunk of rail, and I have a coffee can propane forge and a small riveters coal forge with a hand crank blower. I also do a bunch of other things like leather working, textile working, and woodworking.
